Wanted to write a post about this but didn't had the time and all.
FINALLYYYY ππ I mean I have to post it here in order for me to remember, at least I'll do it before I forget. π
Sometime around July 2016
Trekk from khatib (lower seletar) --> mandai --> ulu Sembawang --> woodlands --> admiralty park --> old woodlands macs --> waterfront
Time: 11:30 - 20:00 (round up)
The weather was good, sunny and not too humid. From khatib back to woodlands was no joke that we took around 3hours ++
The route was interesting to be honest, I get to see things which I don't by traveling on public transport and Ulu Sembawang was legit ULU just like the name π. Many of the people we met along the route was cyclist and tbh Vivian and I were the ONLY 2 who wasn't and I thought 'omg is it because it was crazy that's why people chose to cycle instead?' But nevertheless we survived πͺπΌ
Caught the naise sunset after a very very long day. *i think my leg grew a bit of muscles that day* kiddinggggg π
Muscles became something else cause we had a fulfilling Mcd lunch after a long walk. πΆπ½
Honestly it was good to the mind and body because nature gives me creativity #step
I am super proud of the both of us because *shouts* WE DID IT!!!!!! πππππ
Didn't expect it to be a super tiring walk + major use of Salonpas but it was worth it and we achieved something that we never had thought of it.(at least I didn't) I mean who walks back to woodlands when we can take a train/cab/bus back.
Whoops π€ππ to many more walks and trekking and burgers ππ
